The Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual, free Showcase Sylvania Business Expo is scheduled for March 23 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Sylvania Sports and Exhibition Center at Tam-O-Shanter.
The expo has about 15 spaces still available out of the 160 area businesses that will have spots. The event had more than 4,000 attend last year.
The show highlights local businesses that reflect the area’s private and professional business diversity. The expo shows off local businesses, has a children's area, has exhibits, provides health screenings, and other a Taste of Sylvania, with food samples from area stores.
The chamber has a business preview party on March 22, where the organization announces its 2012 Chamber Champion’s. Several nominees from the business and non-profit sector will be honored for their business acumen and philanthropy.
