Members of the cast of Northview's, "The Sound of Music" perform at Northview High School in Sylvania.
One of the most popular musicals of all time, The Sound of Music, will play at Sylvania Northview Theatre the entire weekend.
Based on music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, the play is also based on a book written by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse. The program tells the story of a governess, dispatched to care for the seven children of a widowed Naval captain.
The show, which had performances Thursday and Friday, will continue at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Northview Performing Arts Center is located at 5403 Silica Drive.
