Hudson Gallery is pleased to announce a solo exhibition of new drawings by one of our area’s finest and most collected artists, Skot Horn.
The exhibit, titled “Drawing from the 10th Floor,” runs Friday to April 6 at Hudson Gallery at 5645 N. Main St. in Sylvania. It is free and open to the public. Hours are Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There is an opening reception 6-8 p.m. March. 8.
This exhibit, including an opening reception 6-8 p.m. March 8, is of his works completed in the last year. These inspired drawings incorporate a great deal of the artist’s expertise with paintingl. Working primarily from memory, Horn approach’s drawing as a way of transferring his subconscious ideas onto paper with as little outside influence as possible.
“Allowing intuition to guide my hand has led to many personal insights, unexpected discoveries and ultimately universal truths”, states Horn.
Horn continues to reap inspiration from both his native Ohio and travels through differing urban locals.
