Students of Cassandra School of Ballet will perform at two Sylvania-area nursing homes.
Students from the Cassandra School of Ballet will bring their gift of dance and festive flair to residents of two Sylvania Township nursing homes.
Performances will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Franciscan Care Center, 4111 N. Holland-Sylvania Rd., and at about 11 a.m at the Kingston Care Center, 4121 King Rd.
The students, aged 7 to 11, will perform classical ballet and contemporary dances to traditional holiday songs.
Cassandra Macino, artistic director of the Toledo school, said, “We have been taking Christmas dances out to the community for over 10 years now. We especially enjoy bringing smiles to the residents at the various nursing homes, sharing the joy of Christmas."
Also that day, at 1 p.m., the ballerinas will have a brief performance at The Andersons Market on Sylvania Avenue.
