If you want to mingle or meet community members of Sylvania, a good place to start is the monthly luncheons hosted by the Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce.
I was invited by a Blade colleague to my first luncheon held at the Sylvania Country Club. I found that most of the people I report on were all in the same room. From Mayor Craig Stough, Sylvania township trustee Neal Mahoney, township administrator John Zeitler, members of the Senior Center, school principals, and other business and government officials.
Another bonus, Northview High School’s Harmony Road Show sang Christmas and Hanukkah melodies while people dined.
