Families have the chance showcase their children in the third annual "That's Me!" baby and child portrait contest that will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Ohio.
The contest is run by Kurt Nielson Photography in Sylvania.
Beginning March 11, area families can schedule a free photo session with photographer Kurt Nielson and select one of the images to be entered in the contest. The contest is open to children ages 12 and under. Each session will run for 30 minutes and produce 15 to 20 images.
There is no fee to have photographs taken, but a minimum $5 donation is requested to go to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Ohio. For that, the parents will receive a CD slideshow of all of the images for their child’s portrait session. Discounted prices will be available for buying packages of photos.
There also are prizes given out for people who participate in the contest, such as a night's stay at Ramada Toledo, admission passes to Splash Bay Indoor Waterpark, admission passes to Imagination Station, and tickets to a Toledo Mud Hens' game.
Photo sessions must be scheduled by April 13.
