Here are the crime reports from Oct. 8 through Oct.15 from Sylvania and Sylvania Township police departments. Also included are the fire runs from the Sylvania Township Fire Department.
Theft. In & Out Mart, 5566 W. Alexis Rd., reported someone stole a 12 pack of malt beverages valued at $11.99 and a 24 cases of beer, valued at $17.99 each.
Sylvania Township Police
Theft. Janice Roush, 500 block of N. Holland-Sylvania Road, reported her purse stolen from her shopping cart while at Walmart, 5821 Central Ave. It contained a flash drive, credit cards, and identification documents.
Theft. Shoe Carnival, 5221 Monroe St., reported that nine people came in to the store and grabbed multiple boxes of shoes and fled the store without paying.
Theft. Kamaron Kyser, 2100 block of North 12th Street, reported stolen from his locker a wallet containing $40, credit cards, and an MP3 player. He said the padlock on the locker was cut. The incident occurred LA Fitness, 2859 N. Holland-Sylvania Rd.
Theft. Scott Savage, 7200 block of Copperwood Lane, reported an iPhone was stolen from his vehicle. The car was parked in a lot at 3350 N. Holland-Sylvania.
Sylvania Township Fire Department
8400 block of Central Avenue, motor vehicle accident.
Intersection of Brookhurst and Willow Glen Road, passenger vehicle fire.
3200 block of Centennial Road, public service assistance.
5200 block of Lerado Road, unauthorized burning.
