Sylvania resident Christopher Thomas Laney has been selected for inclusion in the 2012 Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges publication.
Students in Who’s Who are honored based on their academic achievement, leadership, service to their campus and/or community and potential for continued success. Christopher is an Adolescent to Young Adult Education major at Lourdes University. At Lourdes, he co-founded the Environmental Club and has been a presenter for the University’s Tech Prep Conclave and the Education Tech Prep Conclave.
Off-campus, Christopher has served as a science tutor at Whitmer High School and is a member of the S.A.V.E (Science Alliance for Valuing the Earth) organization. Developed in 1934, Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges, is a distinguished biographical volume that honors the nation's most noteworthy students of higher learning. In its 75+ years serving higher education institutions, Who's Who has become one of the most highly regarded and long-standing honors programs in the nation.
For the students who are selected, national recognition by the Who's Who program marks a pinnacle of scholastic achievement.
