Voting officials in several counties, including Lucas, Ottawa, Fulton, and Wood, are reporting long lines of voters seeking to cast ballots in the presidential election, but they say there's been relatively few problems at voting locations today.
"Everything is going very well," said Dan Ladity, a member of the Ottawa County Board of Elections. "We've experienced no major problems. Everybody's hard work is paying off."
Election officials in Lucas County were visiting polling sites this morning and were not available for comment. But, voters at several sites reported long lines through 10 a.m. today.
Lucas County election officials said that early voting participation is at about the same pace as last year.
"It's been pretty good," said Marty Limmer, information services manager for the Lucas County Board of Elections.

Some voters have called The Blade reporting problems with specific machines but poll workers have been handling those situations at the specific poll locations.
Kandice Lemley, deputy director for the Fulton County Board of Elections, said many voters have been calling her office to ask where they are supposed to vote, but that isn't uncommon.
"Poll workers haven't reported any real issues," Ms. Lemley said.
Election officials in Wood County today reported very long lines at many of its 97 precincts.
