The city of Toledo is offering a $3,500 reward for information in the shooting death Jan 16 of a Perrysburg woman during a robbery at the North Toledo auto parts business she and her husband own.
The reward is for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the death of Cathy McCune, 43, who was shot in the back of the head.
Her husband, Richard, 44, was wounded in the leg during the incident about 6:40 p.m. at A-1 Auto Parts, 4105 North Detroit Ave.
The couple stopped at the business after dinner to pick up paperwork and check the water pipes.
The suspect was described as Hispanic or black with a light complexion, 6 feet to 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing more than 240 pounds. He may have fled the parking lot in a dark-colored, midsized car, possibly south on North Detroit.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stopper program at 419-255-1111.
