Robber uses note, takes cash from Charter One

A man with a note demanding cash robbed a West Toledo bank yesterday of an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect entered the Charter One Bank, 3354 Dorr St., at 9:55 a.m., passed a teller a note demanding money, and gestured that he had a weapon, authorities said. No weapon was seen and no one was hurt.

He is described as black with a medium complexion; 30 to 35 years old; 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighing 180 pounds. He has short, dark hair, a moustache, and short beard. He was wearing sunglasses, a baseball cap, and a dark, faded jacket.

A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading to the robber's arrest and prosecution. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 419-243-6122 or Crime Stopper at 419-255-1111.
