341 suspected marijuana plants seized in Arcadia

ARCADIA, Ohio — Authorities said 341 suspected marijuana plants were seized along with cash, drug paraphernalia, and criminal tools at an Arcadia home Tuesday.

The Hancock County METRICH Drug Enforcement Unit searched a home at 305 East Fremont St., where the items were confiscated. No arrests were immediately made.

Detective Sgt. Justin Hendren said the seizure was the largest in Hancock County in recent history. With an estimated street value of $1,000 per mature plant, he said, the seizure would represent $341,000 worth of marijuana.
