A man was shot in central Toledo overnight by a stranger who fled, apparently in a robbery gone wrong, authorities said Thursday morning.
Myron Payne, 24, of Toledo, was treated in Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center for gunshot wounds to the hand, back, and both legs, Toledo police said.
The incident occurred about midnight on the street in the 300 block of Belmont Avenue, officers said.
