According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, Mr. Musch lost control of the 2002 Ford Expedition he was driving, went off the left side of the road, and struck some trees.

Also riding as passengers were John Cunningham, 33, Sam Smith, 29, Sandy Russell, 30, and Florence Jung, 30, all of Toledo, according to the state patrol. Troopers said all other occupants suffered injuries but none required transportation to a hospital.
