TIFFIN — A former private tennis coach accused of having sexual contact with a 17-year-old student has pleaded guilty in Seneca County Common Pleas Court to two felony charges.

David A. Kimmet, 64, of Tiffin pleaded guilty Thursday to one count each of sexual battery and illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material.

Visiting Judge Russell Wiseman did not schedule a sentencing date.

Kimmet, who is being held in the Seneca County jail, was arrested in June and indicted by a Seneca County grand jury on two counts each of sexual battery and illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material.
