Man dead after gunshot wound to head

A 22-year-old man died today, a day after police found him slumped at the wheel of a sport-utility vehicle with a gunshot wound in the head.

Ramon C. Dorsey was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center after the shooting Saturday. He was pronounced dead at 10:45 a.m. today, police said.

Police issued a murder warrant for Patrick L. Harris

Toledo police Sgt. William Wauford had described Mr. Dorsey's injuries Saturday as “very critical.” The motive and circumstances were under investigation, he said.

Police found the SUV in the odd-side alley behind the 2800 block of North Summit Street just after 2 p.m. Saturday. Witnesses described a man seen running from the area.

Mr. Dorsey's death is Toledo's 11th homicide this year in the city and metro area.
