Voyeurism suspect pleads not guilty

FINDLAY — A man has pleaded not guilty to 12 misdemeanor counts of voyeurism after he allegedly took cell-phone photos of women in various stages of undress at a tanning salon.

Casey T. Miller, 26, was charged earlier this month in Findlay Municipal Court. Police said he took photographs of 12 victims by holding a cell phone over a partial wall at a Tan Pro salon in Findlay.

He’s charged with three similar counts in Bowling Green Municipal Court, where a hearing is scheduled for Aug. 28, and one voyeurism count in Fremont Municipal Court, where he’s due back in court July 23.

Findlay police Lt. John Dunbar said Bowling Green police contacted his department after they launched an investigation into the other acts in Bowling Green. Police were able to identify victims using the tanning salon’s fingerprint scanning visitor log data.

Mr. Miller, whose place of residence is listed in Pemberville and Gibsonburg in different courts’ documents, is scheduled for a pretrial hearing in Findlay on Aug. 27.
