FINDLAY -- Two North Baltimore residents were injured today when they were thrown from their motorcycle after losing control on a rain-slicked road.
The crash occurred on Hancock County Road 220 near Allen Township Road 101.
Anthony Dotson, 39, and Victoria Dotson, 44, were traveling north on county road 220 on a white 2003 Harley Davidson when a vehicle in front of Mr. Dotson stopped, preparing to turn west onto township road 101, according to the Hancock County Sheriff's Office.
Mr. Dotson attempted to stop, but lost control because of the wet pavement, authorities said. Both Mr. and Ms. Dotson, who were wearing helmets, were ejected from the motorcycle.
The pair was transported by emergency squad to the Blanchard Valley Hospital emergency room. Hospital officials said Mr. Dotson only had minor injuries and was discharged. Ms. Dotson was listed in serious condition.
Mr. Dotson was cited for operating without reasonable control.
