Bond set at $50,000 for suspected bank robber

A Toledo man accused of robbing a downtown bank was arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court today.

Leon Napier, 58, of 1460 South Ave., is charged with aggravated robbery. He was ordered to be held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $50,000.

Police allege that Mr. Napier robbed Key Bank, 245 N. Superior St., on Friday. A bank customer followed Mr. Napier after the robbery and pointed Toledo police to the TARTA bus that the suspect had boarded. Mr. Napier was then arrested without incident.
