Death of woman found in field ruled a homicide

DELTA, Ohio — The death of a Springfield Township woman whose body was found Saturday in Fulton County has been ruled a homicide.

The Lucas County Coroner’s Office, which performed an autopsy Monday on Brandi Gonyer-Boaston, 28, determined she died of asphyxiation.

Her body was found at 7:40 a.m. by hunters in a running vehicle, parked in a field on County Road N between County Road 8 and State Rt. 109 in Royalton Township. Anyone with information should call the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, 419-335-4010, or Crime Stoppers, 800-255-1122.
