Police looking for second suspect in fatal April beating of Toledo man

Toledo police are looking for a second suspect in the fatal beating of a Toledo man.

Roderick Colbert, 20, address unavailable, is wanted in the April 12 assault on Jeffrey Miller-Lee, 27, that resulted in Mr. Miller-Lee's death.

A second Toledo man, Jerome Carter, 26, of 930 Islington St., was indicted last week for murder and felonious assault for the assault. Police said the victim was repeatedly punched and kicked in his head and body then thrown 8 feet onto a sidewalk outside 417 Cumberland Place.

Mr. Miller-Lee died April 15 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center after being removed from life support.

Police are asking that anyone with information about Mr. Colbert should call Crimestoppers at 419-255-1111.
