Toledo police have issued a felonious assault warrant for a young man after he allegedly shot another 18-year-old man Thursday afternoon.
Police said Robert Sherman, 18, shot Breon Strozier, 18, of Toledo in a drive-by shooting near Hudson and Elm streets about 3:50 p.m. Strozier was hit in the shoulder, Sgt. Bill Wauford said.
Strozier showed up at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center with a gunshot wound about five minutes later.
Sergeant Wauford said the motive for the shooting was unknown, but Sherman and Strozier had “bad blood from a prior incident,” he said.
Sherman of 1738½ Milburn Ave. faces one count of felonious assault. He was not in custody late Thursday.
