Tyler Jones, 19, of 2719 Brentwood Ave., is charged with one count of murder and three counts of felonious assault. His bond was set at $1.3 million and his next court date is June 3.
Police said they believe Mr. Jones killed Sheymarr Noble, 22, and wounded Davon Ballard, 26; Emerson Ware, Jr., 27, and Terrelle Russell, 27, all of Toledo, in the 2100 block of Joffre Avenue in the central city.

Police initially believed the shooting to be gang-related. But as the investigation progressed, authorities determined that it appeared to be about a woman.
Areanna Coley, 18, of the Brentwood address, also appeared in court today and was ordered held in lieu of $25,000 bond. She is charged with obstructing justice in the same case. Authorities claim she lied to police about Mr. Jones’ whereabouts.
