Bedford Twp. fire will dedicate new engine

The Bedford Township fire department will dedicate its new fire engine at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the District 2 station, 3445 Dean Rd., in Lambertville. The public is invited.

“We are all very proud of the arrival of our newest apparatus and we want to give it a proper traditional welcome,” fire Chief Rudy Ruiz said. Cake and coffee will be served after the short ceremony.

The Pierce Top Mount Pumper cost $418,821. It has an aluminum body and a 1,500-gallon-per-minute pump.
