A 19-year-old Toledo man has been charged with the May 25 shooting death of Sheymarr Noble.
Charged with murder is Michael Gaston, 19, of 1760 Macomber St. Police allege that the suspect shot Noble, 22, of Toledo in the 2100 block of Joffre Avenue. In the midday shooting, three others were injured. Mr. Gaston has not been charged with any of the other shootings. Injured were Emerson Ware, Jr., 26, Terrelle Russell, 27, and Davon Ballard, 27.
Police initially filed a murder charge in the case against Tyler Jones, 19, of Toledo but then dropped the charges. He, however, remains in the Lucas County jail on an unrelated shooting charge.
The charge against Mr. Gaston was filed Wednesday evening, and he was not yet in custody. He is described by police as black, 6 feet tall, 215 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
