The Ohio State Highway Patrol will have a drunken-driving checkpoint late today on McCord Road in Lucas County.
Funded by federal grants, the 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday checkpoint is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers. It will be held in conjunction with other nearby saturation patrols to combat alcohol-related crashes.
