Arraignment for Michigan player rescheduled

Sophomore York allegedly punched man and broke his jaw


ANN ARBOR — The arraignment for Michigan wide receiver Csont'e York has been rescheduled for 9 a.m. Sept. 8 in Washtenaw County's 15th District Court, per online court records.

York, a sophomore, faces three charges related to a July 18 incident outside of an Ann Arbor bar in which he allegedly punched a man and broke his jaw. York faces two counts of assault or assault and battery and one count of aggravated assault. The arraignment hearing was originally scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday.

York remains indefinitely suspended from the Wolverines. Michigan opens the season Aug. 30 against Appalachian State.
