The Detroit Lions say higher player salaries forced them to raise ticket prices by an average of $11.19 to $71.85 for the 2008 season. The team says it's the first price increase for most seats since the club moved from the Pontiac Silverdome to Detroit's Ford Field in 2002. The team says the new average price is very close to last season's NFL average of $71.36.
