Ecothrifty living is the topic of a lecture sponsored by the Evening Alliance and Layman's League of First Unitarian Church of Toledo, to be held Tuesday at 7 p.m., at the church, 3205 Glendale Ave. Deborah Neimann, author of Ecothrifty and Homegrown and Handmade, will speak about green and healthy choices for food and personal care. A dinner with wine reception at 5:30 p.m. and meal at 6 p.m. will be served for $10; call 419-882-1343 by Sunday for required reservations. There is no charge for those who wish to attend only the program at 7 p.m.
