The annual picnic of the MultiFaith Council of Northwest Ohio will be held, rain or shine, Sunday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sylvania United Church of Christ, 7240 Erie St., Sylvania. It is free and open to all, but potluck dishes are requested.
The picnic has a theme, “Compassionate Living Through Knowledge of Other Faiths,” and will feature games for all ages based on creative fun and cooperation.
A baking contest open to everyone will be judged by multifaith clergy; participants can bring their baked goods.
This year for the potluck, main dishes or casseroles are requested from attendees with last names starting with the letters A through I, salads and side dishes from J through R, and desserts from S through Z. The potluck food will be supplemented by kosher hot dogs, black bean burgers, beverages, and snack food provided by the MultiFaith Council.
RSVPs are requested by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, but preregistration is not required. For more information, call 419-283-9033.
