Last Fashion Bug stores to close by early 2013

SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Low-priced women's clothing chain Fashion Bug will soon join the retail graveyard.

Ascena Retail Group Inc. has completed its buyout of Charming Shoppes Inc., which owns the chain, and plans to shutter the remaining several hundred Fashion Bug stores by early next year. Metro Toledo has three stores -- on Lewis Avenue, in the Spring Meadows shopping center, and on U.S. 20 in Rossford.
