Elder-Beerman will join a growing number of stores who plan to open on Thanksgiving evening. The retailer will open at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving to give customers a head start on their holiday shopping, parent company the Bon-Ton Stores announced Wednesday.
Elder-Beerman is the latest retail chain to announce plans to open on Nov. 28, joining competitors that include Macy’s, Kohls, Walmart, and Target, among others.
Bon-Ton officials said in-store “door buster” deals will be in effect through Friday, Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. In addition, the company will offer online door buster specials starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27 on its Web site.
