BRIANA SHOOK of the University of Toledo was named the Women s Scholar-Athlete of the Week by the Mid-American Conference after her performance at the Sea Ray Invitational in Knoxville, Tenn., last week, where she set a UT record with a winning time of 16:20.57 - second-fastest in the country this year - in the 5,000-meter run.
