SPORTS NOTE

CENTRAL CATHOLIC FALL JAMBOREE: Central Catholic will host its Fall Sports Jamboree at the Gallagher Athletic Complex. The Irish will play Tiffin Columbian at 6 p.m. in a football scrimmage. Team members will be introduced immediately after the game. Members of other fall sports teams will be introduced throughout the evening. Live music and food vendors start at 4:30 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students. All proceeds go to the OHSAA Foundation and to the ALS Foundation.

NWO Lady Irish Tryouts will be held Saturday at Rolf Park, 2115 Cass Road, Maumee for 10u, 12u & 14u; pitchers and catchers: 8 a.m.; infield and outfield: 9 a.m. Tryouts conclude at noon.
