COLUMBUS — Regulators say monthly revenue fell at three of Ohio’s four, voter-approved casinos in August compared with July but was up slightly at the fourth facility in northwest Ohio.

The Ohio Casino Control Commission’s report today showed revenue at the casino in Toledo increased 2.9 percent from July figures to about $15.9 million for August.

August revenue for the Cleveland casino last month was about $18.9 million, down 4.8 percent from July. The casino in Columbus reported revenue last month of about $16.9 million, down 3.4 percent from the previous month.

The casino in Cincinnati showed a 0.3 percent decline from July to around $19.2 million for August.

Statewide, casino revenues totaled about $70.9 million in August, down 1.6 percent from July’s $72 million.
