Local sensor maker wins $999,875 grant
Integrated Sensors LLC of Ottawa Hills will get $999,876 for research and development from the U.S. Department of Energy's Small Business Innovation Research grant program, according to the office of Sen. Sherrod Brown (D., Ohio).
The company will use the money for its "High-Performance Plasma Panel Based Micropattern Detector," which it says would have a variety of applications in nuclear physics.
