The University of Toledo announced Thursday that its home football game against Boise State will be played on Friday, Sept. 16, at 8 p.m. and will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2.
Boise State could be the highest-ranked school ever to play in the Glass Bowl. The Broncos finished the 2010 season with a 12-1 record and a No. 7 national ranking. The highest-ranked opponent hosted by UT was No. 9 Pittsburgh in 2003. The Rockets won that game 35-31.
