Rockets crush Northwestern Ohio in season opener

Six players scored in double figures as the University of Toledo whipped Northwestern Ohio, 102-55, in the season opener tonight at Savage Arena.

Rian Pearson's 19 points led the way followed by Jonathan Williams (15), Julius Brown (13), Justin Drummond (14), J.D. Weatherspoon (12), and Zach Garber (11). Matt Smith had nine points for the Rockets, who trailed at the midway point of the first half before taking over with a series of flashy dunks.
