MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — The University of Toledo basketball team is still unbeaten.
The Rockets improved to 8-0 today, winning 80-77 at Robert Morris despite the Colonials shooting 63 percent from the field.
Four Rockets scored in double figures: Rian Pearson (19 points), Justin Drummond (16), Julius Brown (16) and J.D. Weatherspoon (10).
UT was 19 of 22 from the free-throw line.
RMU's Lucky Jones and Karvel Anderson scored 25 and 23 points, respectively, on combined 19 of 23 shooting.
Drummond fouled Anderson with one second to go, sending him to the line. Anderson missed his first attempt and the game was over.
RMU fell to 3-7.
