•Notes: Tonight is the first of a home-and-home series this weekend with the Kalamazoo Wings, who are two points behind the first-place Walleye in the ECHL North Division. …Toledo has won four of five meetings with the Wings this year. …Walleye F Maxime Tanguay was reassigned from Rockford of the AHL Wednesday. Tanguay leads Toledo in points with 30 (11 G, 19 A). …At tonight's “New Year's Resolution Night,” presented by The Blade, Walleye calendars will be given away after the game. …Toledo G Jordan Pearce is expected to get his fourth consecutive start after Alec Richards was called up to Rockford on Dec. 26. Walleye coach Nick Vitucci said, “Based on his performances, we're more than fine with that. He has taken the ball and has run with it.” Pearce (8-6-1, 3.71 GAA) had won a season-high five straight games entering this weekend. …Toledo F Evan Rankin has 12 goals and 12 assists and ranks third on the team in points. …Kalamazoo (16-8-4) is led by F Rick Cleaver (13 G, 21 A), who is ranked fifth in the league in points. …Wings G Ryan Nie (7-3-1) has a 2.88 GAA.
