A CARP FESTIVAL WITH NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT

Fern Schrock, left, of Archbold arranges some of the delectables that were part of an ice cream social while Ginger Dalton, of Archbold looks what next to put on her plate.

Nearby, Scott Towers of Montpelier watches the reaction of his daughter, Reagan, 5 months, to the goings on at the social. There also were a weekend full of activities such as a fish fry, a car show, a swing band, and at the village's swimming pool, a splash dance.
