Library will offer access to 4 other Ohio systems

Lucas County residents unable to find next month's reading selection at their local branch of the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library will be able to access collections at other libraries around the state.

The local library has partnered with four other library systems to launch Search Ohio, a consortium that will allow library users to borrow books and materials from other communities within two to three days.

The consortium partners are Westerville Public Library and the county libraries of Cuyahoga, Warren-Trumbull, and Youngstown-Mahoning.

Search Ohio makes more than seven million items available to library patrons.

Those looking to use Search Ohio should go to the library's Web site at www.toledolibrary.org and type in the title of the item under the Quick Search link. Once the page appears, patrons then click on the Search Ohio icon.
