UT students show their reel-life experiences at first annual film event

Student filmmakers attempting to define the first-year student experience will show off their work at the University of Toledo Sunday during the uncUT First-Year iMovie Film Festival.

The movie makers have worked for five weeks to write, shoot, and edit movies that capture the trials and tribulations of being a college freshman: new roommates, studying — or not — and everything else.

The third annual event will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the university’s Doermann Theatre on the Bancroft Street campus. It is sponsored by the First Year Experience Office. Attendees to this free event will be eligible for door prizes, such as Toledo Mud Hens tickets and gift certificates to area restaurants and businesses.

Information: 419-530-2330.
