Fayette puts off request for prayers
FAYETTE - Village council delayed until Feb. 12 a decision on whether to start its meetings with prayer as requested by its new mayor, Anita Van Zile.
Council had been expected to vote on its rules, which would have included the proposed section on prayer, when it met last week.
