Recently released inspection reports of Lucas County food-service operations:

El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant, 5125 Monroe, inspected Oct. 18. Critical violation: Paper towels or soap missing from all three handwash sinks in kitchen area. Keep handwash sinks properly supplied at all times.

Two noncritical violations. Inspector: James Herzberg.

Salads 'N' Such, 5001 Monroe, inspected Oct. 18. Critical violations: All prepared foods, including prepared salads, must be date-marked. Do not dry dishes and utensils with a towel, allow to air dry. Baked potatoes must be cooled quickly to 41 degrees in a single layer on a tray in walk-in cooler. Do not cool at room temperature. Do not re-use single-use containers. Purchase additional reusable food-grade containers. Inspector: Herzberg.

Coney Island, 5001 Monroe, inspected Oct. 18. Critical violation: Do not reuse plastic bread bags for food storage. Inspector: Herzberg.

Robinson Junior High School, 1027 Grand, inspected Oct. 18. Three critical violations: Cheeseburgers hot holding at 135-136 degrees. Hold potentially hazardous foods at 140 degrees or more to inhibit the growth of bacteria. Nacho cheese at 121 degrees in machine. Cheese must be held at 140 degrees or more. Cheese taken out of use.

Repair door latch on walk-in freezer door so that door opens freely from outside and inside. Seven noncritical violations. Inspector: Debbie Dacquisto.

Long John Silver's, 1641 West Sylvania, inspected Oct. 18. One critical violation: Hot holding cabinet is not holding product at proper temperature. Rice and corn removed from service. Maintain temperature on cabinet at 160-180 degrees. Seven noncritical violations. Inspector: Dacquisto.

Krispy Kreme Donuts, 3348 Secor, inspected Oct. 14. Six critical violations: Provide gloves to all employees working with ready-to-eat foods. Provide hairnets and use with a visor to prevent possible contamination of food. Food containers are to be labeled with the name of the food. Observed buildup of dried food debris on utensils and equipment.

All utensils and equipment are to be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Clean and sanitize soft drink nozzles daily. Large mixing bowl found in mop sink. Mop sink is not be utilized for washing or storage of food equipment. Chemicals are to be stored below and separate from food, food supplies, utensils, and or equipment. Chemicals found stored above food.
