Oct. 13: Art history series, 1 p.m., on art in the 1700 to 1800s. Prelude to the Oct. 27 trip to the art museum, which requires advance registration for transportation.

Oct. 28: Fall Fling dance, 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the center. Prizes for the best dance fling. Tickets, $5, available now.

Third, fourth Thursdays: 6:15 p.m. dominoes tournament; registration required.

Fridays: Free watercolor classes at 10 a.m. Bring your own supplies.

Tuesdays: Male fitness club 9-10 a.m. Computer sessions, 11 a.m.-noon and 1-2 p.m.; call for reservations.

Weekdays: Lunch at noon, $2; no reservations required. Dinners at 5:30 p.m. served Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, reservations required by 2 p.m. the day of the meal. Dinner coupons, $4.

Volunteers with cars needed to deliver noon meals to home-bound individuals in the area, one day or more per week.

Today: Flu clinic begins 9:45 a.m., for high risk individuals, as defined by the Center for Disease Control. Seniors, individuals with chronic illnesses, and caretakers of high risk people are eligible. Cost, $25 for flu shot and $35 for pneumonial shot. Medicare Part B or contracted HMO's accepted. Oct. 18: Living wills and medical power of attorney documents prepared free by attorneys from the Attorney General's office, for seniors ages 60 and older. Call 419-242-1144 for an appointment.

Monday and Wednesdays: Arm chair exercises at 9:30 a.m.

Tuesdays and Thursdays: Fitness class at 9:30 a.m.

Lunch served weekdays at 11:30 a.m. at a suggested donation of $1.75. Call 419-242-3136 the day before to sign up.

Adult day services to the older population are now available in the community center, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
