City of Toledo, Lucas County, most state, and federal offices will be closed today in observance of Columbus Day. Auto title offices also will be closed.
Northwood, Perrysburg, and Sylvania city offices will be closed. Maumee, Ottawa Hills, Rossford, and Oregon city offices will be open.
A list of select services for today follows:
Toledo Edison office and phone service and Columbia Gas' phone center will have regular service.
Public and parochial schools and area colleges and universities will have regular classes.
Banks and financial institutions will be closed, except for Huntington National Bank, National City Bank, and KeyBank and branches, which will be open regular hours.
Fifth Third Bank and branches will be closed, but its Bank Mart locations in Kroger stores will be open regular hours.
Shopping centers and malls will be open regular hours.
The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library and branches will be open.
There will be no mail delivery and no window service at the Main Post Office or any of the classified stations or branches.
Mail collection will occur.
Express Mail service will be available from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Permit Mailing Section will be open from noon to 6 p.m.
Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority buses will operate on a regular schedule.
Refuse and recycling services in Toledo and outlying areas will be on their regular schedules for the entire week.
Meter parking in downtown Toledo will be free.
