Traffic injuries


3:15 a.m. - Hill and Parkside. Toledo police SUV driven by Officer Paul Marchyok, 42, and SUV of Felea Brown, 19, of Avondale, who along with her passenger, Symira Joshaway, of Avondale, were treated at Toledo Hospital.


5:47 p.m. - Fassett and Dawson. SUV of Julio Martinez, 22, of 149th, and auto of Bryan Bumgardner, 39, of North Summit, who along with his passenger, Lottie Fuller, 30, of Crescent, were treated at St. Charles Mercy Hospital.

6:05 p.m. - Navarre and Howland. Autos of Nicholas Hineline, 17, of Victory; Ann Moore, 63, of Oregon, who was treated at St. Charles Mercy Hospital, and RoseMaria Montalvo, 45, of Oregon, who also was treated at St. Charles.

10 p.m. - Nebraska and Hawley. Toledo police car driven by Officer Douglas Lewis, 35, and Toledo Police car driven by officer Byron Daniels, 54, who with his passenger, Andre Bills, of Nebraska, were both treated at St. Anne Mercy Hospital.

Coroner rulings

Lucas County

Thomas Cowles, 58, of Lerado, Sylvania, Sept. 27, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Undetermined, craniocerebral injuries; sustained head injury while anticoagulated.

Betty Grant, 76, of Fayette, Ohio, Nov. 7, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Accidental, blunt head trauma; deceased fell at home.

Bernard Steombart, 65, of Hill, Nov. 3, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Accidental, acute subdural hemotoma; deceased fell and struck his head.

Jack Anderson, 89, of Toledo, Oct. 24 at a nursing home in Toledo. Accident: complications from trauma; deceased fractured pelvis in nursing home fall and developed pneumonia.

Richard Creque, 46, of Maumee, Sept. 6 at St. Luke's Hospital. Accident, deceased fell off bicycle and suffered neck injury.

Phillip Davis, 30, of Toledo, Oct. 23 on Anthony Wayne Trail. Accident: head injury in car accident.

Harland Fackler, 77, of South Pioneer, Ohio, Nov. 15 at University of Toledo Medical Center, formerly Medical College of Ohio Hospital. Accident: head injury from fall in hospital.

Ruth Vaznelis, 81, of Sylvania, Oct. 19 at Flower Hospital. Accident: complications of trauma from car accident.

Troy Veler, 36, of Maumee, Sept. 28 at residence. Accident, combined drug toxicity.

Roxanna Wegner, 89, of Sylvania, Oct. 27 at nursing home in Sylvania. Accident: blunt head trauma from fall down stairs at home.
