DISPOSING OF OLD GLORY IN WOODVILLE

From left above, Don Rozick, assistant scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 329, and Doug Sparks, commander of American Legion Post 455, both in Woodville, collect old flags that are then burned by Scouts Josh Kiser, 15, of Gibsonburg, and Quentin Jernigan, 13, of Woodville, from left at right.

The Legion post and Scout troop joined yesterday at the gazebo at South Cherry and Erie streets in Woodville to host the flag-burning ceremony and educate the public about the proper way to dispose of the American flag.
