TPS chess tournament

About 100 students from 24 schools competed on Saturday, April 30, 2016, in the 13th annual Toledo Public Schools elementary chess tournament. Competitors in grades two through eight faced off in seven matches, divided by grade levels. While organized by Toledo Public Schools, students from area districts were allowed to compete. The North Branch Boys Fly Fishing Club annual dinner was held at Carranor Hunt and Polo Club. Smoked lake trout and salmon pate were among the appetizers brought by members.
